Memecooking refunds
When a Meme Cooking auction on NEAR Protocol ends below its configured soft cap, the token does not launch and depositors must withdraw their refundable NEAR manually on the accounts page. The 0.5% deposit fee remains deducted. The 2% early-withdrawal fee does not apply to this post-auction refund.

Final deposits and launch status
The configured soft cap is the minimum required for a launch when the countdown ends. Deposits can fall as participants withdraw during an open auction, so an earlier total above the soft cap does not establish that the token will launch. Refund eligibility depends on the final total remaining below that auction's configured soft cap.
An optional hard cap can end the auction early: reaching it triggers an immediate launch. After a successful launch, depositors claim tokens manually on the accounts page. That token claim is separate from the NEAR refund available after a below-cap finish.
Withdrawal-fee distributions
The 2% early-withdrawal fee is redistributed to other participants whose NEAR remains deposited in the same auction when the countdown ends, whether or not the token launches. A remaining depositor's failed-auction refund can therefore include a share of those fees in addition to their deposit balance after the retained 0.5% charge.
