Memecooking: Team Vesting
Meme Cooking's token launchpad on NEAR Protocol supports an optional team allocation. If enabled, the creator can claim a percentage of total token supply after a successful launch. That allocation can have a configurable cliff and linear vesting period.
· last updatedHow do the allocation and release schedule relate?
The allocation percentage determines the size of the creator's reserved share. A cliff restricts when tokens first become claimable, while linear vesting makes tokens available progressively over a configured period. A creator claim depends on a successful launch and any release conditions configured for that allocation.
The Create a Token guide describes configurable timing without prescribing one schedule for every token. Exact claim dates and amounts therefore require the particular allocation's settings.
How does the team share affect depositors and liquidity?
If the launch succeeds, the token supply remaining after any team allocation is divided roughly equally between auction depositors and the Ref Finance liquidity pool. A larger creator allocation leaves a smaller percentage of total supply for each group. Within the depositor portion, participants receive tokens in proportion to their NEAR deposits.
Does the liquidity lock determine team vesting?
The 69-year lock described in How It Works applies to the Ref Finance liquidity position after a successful launch. The creator's cliff and linear vesting period are separate terms that govern the team token allocation.
Which allocation terms should you check?
- If team allocation is enabled, identify its percentage of total token supply.
- If vesting is configured, review the cliff and linear vesting period before assuming when the creator's tokens become available.
- Before making a creator claim, confirm that the launch succeeded and that the applicable release conditions have been met.
